The Community Day School provides early childhood care and education programs for children 6 weeks to 12 years of age.

Enrollment process

Complete an Enrollment Packet or Register for our waiting list, if space is not immediately available.

Once your child has been offered a slot in a classroom and given a start date, you will need to stop by the office for an enrollment packet. The completed enrollment packet and all required paperwork provided by the center, along with the child’s Immunization Record from the Tennessee Department of Health, must be turned in 24 hours before the first day of attendance.

The Community Day School suggests that each new child and his or her parent(s) visit the new classroom together before the child starts. This may be helpful in order to help the child transition more smoothly into the classroom. The preferred time to visit is from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. or from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Waiting list
If there is not an immediate opening for your child(ren) at the time of application, your child(ren) will be placed on the wait list according to the priority list. The Director will contact you when there is an opening.
If your child cannot be admitted to the classroom of your choice, we will be happy to place your name on our waiting list for that specific classroom. We will contact you when an opening is available.
